A decade of ultrasonic textile innovation
Geratex introduced the SonicWASH ultrasonic compartments in 2016, and since then we have not looked back. With a decade of experience and multiple repeat orders, our technology has been tried and tested across the globe, in 13 countries spanning 5 continents.

Scouring and oil removal
The removal of oil and other foreign objects is the primary step in processing of any technical textile. Whether you want to dye the fabric, or apply further treatment, removal of oil and residuals is the first and foremost obstacle in achieving the desired result.
Recognizing this need in the market and realizing that no dedicated technology or system has been developed to tackle this process head on, Geratex has adapted its proven and patented SonicWASH technology to the scouring and oil removal of technical textiles.
By utilizing the power of Ultrasonic technology, SonicWASH effectively eliminated residuals and prepares the fabric for further treatment.
Easy integration into existing lines
Geratex’s SonicWASH™ has been seamlessly integrated into existing desize, bleaching, and mercerizing lines as well as standalone systems. Upgrading existing lines was the foundation upon which we have built our business and proven the reliability, efficiency and versatility of our Ultrasonic Technology.
As compared to existing desize lines, our washers eliminate the need for specialised steam injection or vacuum technologies, thereby saving more than 400 kg of steam per hour before taking into account the steam savings achieved when the fabric is being processed.
Furthermore, being only 400mm in length, you can integrate the washing compartments with minimal, if any, civil engineering work to accommodate them.
